Born in Madagascar, Eric studied fashion design in Paris and worked for Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Lacroix before settling in Siem Reap, in 1996. Inspired by local silk weavers, his unique Cambodian designs have attracted the attention of celebrities such as Anne Hendricks Bass and Angelina Jolie.
